NEWSRhinelander Awaits Five European Players...
The Street Cats await four Russian players and one German goalie while each player waits for his visa to enter the United States of America. All four players are the best in their respective teams, and each one is on the first line of their previous team.
Rustam Kutz got his visa and signed his contract with Rhinelander, and will be listed under tendered players on the league site soon. Rustam had played for coach Igor Myaskovskiy four years ago and is excited to collaborate with Igor again.
Rhinelander coaches Igor Myaskovskiy and his assistants Stan Myaskovskiy and Brian Adams think that the Russian players will be great assets for the Cats and the community of Rhinelander.
"We have not decided yet if it will be the 'RUSSIAN FIVE' like it was in Detroit or if we will split them up into different lines," said Igor Myaskovskiy, "...we are very excited about our prospect from Germany, especially since the town of Rhinelander has a huge German community.
The Cats have also begun gathering local American players, signing Dylan Farmer on Monday. His residency is in Calumet, Michigan, just three hours away from Rhinelander.
“Farmer is team player with outstanding personal skills. He is very motivated, creative, smart, and a good dispatcher,” Igor remarked. “He works hard and has great play-making abilities. He is always in the right place at the right time.”
